The stars of Capricornus lie in the general direction
of our Galaxy'sCore, but outside the dense plane
of the Milky Way.
Representing a goat, often shown with a fish's tail, this group of stars
is most visible in late summer, from the Earth's Northern Hemisphere.
It is home to the distant globular clusterM30.
