NotesEridanus is a special case in the list of constellations above. It is not strictly contained entirely within the quadrant, because a thin sliver at the constellations's northern edge extends into quadrant NQ1. That aside, Eridanus fills much of quadrant SQ1, extending from the celestial equator southwards as far as declination -58°.
