Notes	Reticulum is one of a selection of small and faint constellations in a sparse region of the southern sky northwestward of the Large Magellanic Cloud. Though the name Reticulum is conventionally translated as 'the Net', the name was originally coined by Lacaille to represent the reticle marked on the eyepiece of a telescope.

A group of faint stars, with none above third magnitude, close to the Large Magellanic Cloud.
