Notes	Omega Canis Majoris is a blue star some ten times the mass and the diameter of the Sun, surrounded by a circumstellar disc. It is a variable of the Gamma Cassiopeiae type, showing changes in brightness that follow a complex pattern and suggest that multiple forces are at work within the star.
