This clustered grouping of galaxies represents the heart of the NGC 3607 Group, with the two prominent elliptical galaxies here being NGC 3607 itself (to the south) and NGC 3608 (to the north). The galaxy group has several other members that lie beyond the bounds of this image, most notably C40 (NGC 3632) approximately one degree to the east. Imagery provided by Aladin sky atlas
