Leo

Leo is a neighbour of Coma Berenices, home of the Northern Galactic Pole, and so lies almost directly 'upward' through the plane of the Milky Way.

This zodiacal constellation is unmistakably shaped liked the lion from which it takes its name. It contains the well-known blue dwarf star Regulus, and a number of spiral galaxies.
