The distant star cluster Trumpler 20 stands out as a denser region of stars, compared to the busy background of the Milky Way beyond. Note that the arc of faded blue in this image is not an actual phenomenon, but simply a refraction effect from the bright star Mimosa (Beta Crucis) to the northeast.
