C100, the Running Chicken Nebula, is a broad nebulous region in southern Centaurus, southwestward of the Southern Cross. It is populated by newly-formed star clusters, of which Collinder 249 is a prominent example, as its nearby sibling cluster, the Lamdba Centauri Cluster. Imagery provided by Aladin sky atlas
