A region of Venus extending for nearly four thousand kilometres, lying to the northeast of the equatorial uplands of Atla Regio. The surface of the region is generally undulating, with the exception of the plain of Kawelu Planitia to the northeast. The region is marked by two elongated corona features, Zisa Corona and Lengdin Corona.
In common with similar features on Venus, Ulfrun Regio takes its name from a mythical figure. Ulfrun was a giantess in Norse mythology associated with the sea, and said to be one of the nine mothers of the god Heimdallr.
