The complex Theta2 Orionis system is embedded in the bright heart of the Orion Nebula. The reticle on this image marks the position of the primary star, while the B and C components are visible as distinct points to the east (left). Theta2 Orionis B is the bright point immediately eastward of the primary, and the binary Theta2 Orionis C (or V361 Orionis) lies farther eastward still, more widely separated from the other two components.
