Notes	Southward of brilliant Vega, the blue stars Sulafat and Sheliak define the shape of Lyra, the constellation of the Lyre. Sulafat is a giant star, evolving towards the later stages of its life, and lies several hundred light years closer to the Sun than the more luminous supergiant Sheliak.

The blue giant Sulafat, seen with two of its smaller and fainter companion stars. There is at least one other component in this multiple system.

A hot blue star more than six hundred light years from the Solar System. It lies in the constellation of Lyra, near the Ring Nebula.
