Omega1Scorpii is the bluestar centred in this image, and its yellow-white companion to the southeast is Omega2 Scorpii. While the two stars are just a quarter of a degree apart as seen from Earth, they are widely separated in space, with blue Omega1 falling almost twice as far from the Sun than the closer but less luminousyellowOmega2.
