NotesA tiny and faint red dwarf star, HH Andromedae is approximately a tenth of the Sun's diameter, and only reaches twelfth magnitude despite being one of the nearest neighbours to the Solar System. In common with many red dwarfs, this is a flare star, given to producing sudden and unpredictable bursts of energy.

A tiny red star in the constellation of Andromeda, far too faint to see with the naked eye. It is significant because of its proximity to Earth: at only a little over ten light years' distance, it is the tenth closest star outside the Solar System.
