NotesThis tiny and faint red star lies relatively close to the Sun at a distance of less than twenty light years, but it emits only about one sixteenth as much light as the Sun, and is far too faint to be detected with the naked eye. Preliminary investigations suggested that Gliese 205 might host a pair of Neptune-mass planets, but subsequent investigations have cast doubt on the existence of these planets.
