September (Usually visible from southern latitudes)
There are a number of faint and distant galaxies on almost the same line of sight as Iota Gruis. Most are too faint to be seen in this image, but one is just bright enough to be visible here: magnifying the small blue object to the direct northeast (upper left) of the star will reveal the elongated shape of the lenticular galaxy PGC 70632.
