HR 1887 is among the brightest of several hundred young stars that swarm throughout of the Orion Nebula. This view of HR 1887 and its neighbours shows the stars extending out from the southern edge of the nebula, with third-magnitude Hatysa (Iota Orionis) dominating the region.
