A variable F-type dwarf star lying more than one hundred light years from Earth.
* Some sources list this star's spectral type as F0III-IV, between a giant and subgiant. Though e Piscium is certainly hotter than the Sun, and about six times as luminous, the most recent measurements place it squarely on the main sequence, and thus categorise it as a dwarf star (as indicated by the 'V' in the spectral code given above).
