Notes	Alphecca is a binary system. The main white star is orbited by a yellow dwarf, which causes its magnitude to increase slightly over a period of a little more than seventeen days. Beyond the dwarf companion, a wide disc of material extends far out into space, reaching some 60 AU from the primary star.
