The clouds in the background of this image belong to the complex of nebulae in the Sword of Orion, and specifically to the northern nebula known as the Running Man. The close companion to Brun 903 see here to the east and south of the central star is Brun 910, actually a rather fainter star that is considerably closer to the Sun.
