NotesGliese 892 has a populous planetary system, with most of its confirmed planets orbiting the star in very close orbits (and one outlier, Gliese 892 h, in a significantly more distant orbit). Gliese 892 f lies within the inner grouping of planets, third in order out from the star, but still well within Mercury's orbital distance from the Sun. The planet is more than seven times more massive than Earth, but nonetheless appears to have a rocky structure.
