NotesThis triangle of bright stars provides an invaluable signpost to the major constellations of the northern summer sky. The three brilliant stars that mark the corners of the triangle occupy a wide area of the sky between Pegasus to the east and Hercules to the west, while the southern tip of the triangle points the way toward Sagittarius the Archer.
