A comet discovered by Ferdinand Quénisset in 1911 from the Juvisy observatory in France (an observer who was credited as co-discoverer of Comet Rordame-Quénisset eighteen years earlier).
The comet itself has a vast orbit. After its passage through the inner Solar System in 1911, it has continued to recede into deep space. It is now more than 120 AU from the Sun (some four times the distance of Neptune, and well beyond the Kuiper Belt) in the direction of the constellation Columba.
