Comet Olbers

A small periodic comet discovered by Heinrich Olbers in 1815. It has a highly eccentric orbit that carries it out as far as the orbit of Neptune before returning to the inner Solar System. The comet reached its most recent perihelion on 30 June 2024, and is now receding from the inner Solar System.
