This image is centred on the young blue star Eta Chamæleontis. This is the brightest of a group of about forty recently-formed stars expanding from their original open cluster and forming a stellar association. Also visible in this image is the barred spiral galaxy PGC 24516, almost directly to the east of Eta Chamæleontis. Imagery provided by Aladin sky atlas
