November (Usually visible from northern latitudes)
Notes
The open clusterCollinder 33 appears at the eastern end of the band of nebulosity known as the Soul Nebula, IC 1848. It may be directly related to that nebula, and indeed some sources list it as part of IC 1848. Based on the calculated distances of the two objects, however, Collinder 33 appears to be considerably closer to the Sun than the main Soul Nebula, and the two objects may simply lie on the same line of sight.
